WHEATLAND, CA (MPG) – Assemblyman James Gallagher (R- Plumas Lake) has received a perfect score on the California Manufacturers and Technology (CMTA) 2015 legislative scorecard. He is one of thirteen Assembly Republicans to earn the highest score from CMTA.
“Manufacturers contribute to a vibrant and growing economy in California,” said Assemblyman Gallagher. “The economic contributions of manufacturers must be encouraged. It is one of my focuses to increase high-paying jobs manufacturers create in California.”
CMTA works to create a strong business climate for California’s 30,000 manufacturing, processing, and technology based companies. The CMTA’s Legislative Voting Record scored Assembly Members on ten votes that affect California’s manufacturing industry.
Earlier this year, the Assemblyman passed a resolution declaring October 2nd “Manufacturing Day” to recognize the significant contributions of manufacturers to California’s economy, and to commend the arduous work of business owners and employees who are dedicated to improving and innovating in this diverse and multifaceted industry.
